Portland Wine NewsWSET Courses 2010The dates for the next Intermediate WSET course are - Monday 26th April Tuesday 4th May Monday 10th May Monday 17th May Monday 24th May Tuesday 1st June Monday 7th June Tuesday 15th June Classes will be from 6.30pm - 8.30pm. There is an optional exam at the end of the course (1 hour). The course takes place in the Tasting Room above the Hale Shop (152a Ashley Road, Hale, Altrincham, Cheshire WA15 9SA) Maximum class size is 15 people. This course requires no previous knowledge of wine. It will follow the WSET Intermediate Syllabus, and is mainly based on grape varieties, with a tasting each week. The fee is £135, which covers wine and all study materials. At the end of the course an optional exam can be taken (the WSET Level 2 qualification), which will incur an additional fee.
